Introducing our masterclasses
We offer our three masterclasses as self-paced, interactive online courses. When you enrol in one of our masterclasses, you will enjoy four months of unlimited online access to all the course content for that masterclass. Each masterclass includes videos, revision questions, practical exercises, homework assignments, individual feedback, and a dedicated private forum where students can get to know each other and ask Ronnie or Trish any questions to do with the course content. Prior to the commencement of the session, every student will receive in the mail a study pack containing the complete set of course booklets for their masterclass. Complimentary design templates are also included with the Adobe InDesign for Beginners masterclass. The cost of enrolment in one masterclass is $335.00 AUD (no additional shipping fee applies).
Our masterclasses will run three times a year:
– Session 1 / 1 January to 30 April
– Session 2 / 1 May to 31 August
– Session 3 / 1 September to 31 December
Each masterclass is strictly limited in numbers so that we can personally attend to each student.
All three of our masterclasses have been created with the beginner in mind. Therefore, no prior knowledge of Adobe Lightroom or Adobe InDesign is required. However, a general level of competence with computers is assumed. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to send us an email.
To participate in a masterclass, you will require access to a computer as well as a working copy of the software required for the masterclass that you are planning to enrol in. For direct links to trial copies of Adobe software or for more information on subscribing to the Adobe Creative Cloud, please visit our Software page.
This online masterclass is perfect for anybody who feels overwhelmed by all the photos and other media files that they have. You will learn how to consolidate, rename, organise, manage, and keyword every one of your photo files from the past, the present and the future. You will finish this online class feeling confident in your own ability to keep your photo library well organised moving forward.
This online masterclass is tailored towards those with no prior experience with the graphic design software. In addition to learning the principles of minimalist design and how you can apply it to your personal memory keeping, you will also learn the fundamentals of using Adobe InDesign for creating story books, photo books, and life-album layouts.
This online masterclass takes you straight into mastering the manual mode of your camera through language and illustrations you can easily understand. We explore the technical elements behind exposure, while teaching you to observe light and composition to create meaningful imagery. Storytelling is also introduced through an exploration of emotional connection between you and your subject.
Frequently asked questions
I don’t live in Australia. Can I still enrol in one of your masterclasses?
Yes! Our masterclasses are open to all students worldwide.
Do I have to be online at a particular time?
No, all three masterclasses are self-paced. This means that you can log in to the classroom at any time and work through the material at your own pace.
How are these masterclasses different to your previous online classes?
The content is essentially the same (though we are constantly working towards updating our masterclass videos to keep them in-line with the latest software releases). The main difference is in the format. With our previous six-week online classes, we released a new lesson at the beginning of each week. At the conclusion of the six weeks, students had access to the content for an additional thirty days. With our masterclasses, students will have four months unlimited access to all the lessons upfront as soon as the session commences.
What software do I require for the masterclasses?
