LIFE:CAPTURED began in August 2013 when we held our first full-day workshop at RAW Space in Sydney, Australia. Our mission is to help people document their stories and create tangible keepsakes to be treasured for generations to come. We offer intensive design, photography, and memory keeping workshops, as well as interactive online classes. We are advocates of honest photography, minimalist design, and memory keeping that's simple, beautiful, and tangible. We are the pioneers of the story book, and we offer flexible templates that enable everybody to tell their story. We believe that life is worth remembering and that it is never too early or too late to start documenting yours. LIFE:CAPTURED was founded by Rhonda Mason (of the Pink Ronnie blog) and Trish Chong (of Tealily Photography).

How It Works

Online Classes by LIFE:CAPTURED Inc (The modern school of memory keeping)

For those unable to attend our Sydney workshops in person, we offer our masterclasses online. Most online classes will be held over 4-6 weeks, with videos, practical exercises, weekly homework, individual feedback, class forums, and printable handouts. Complimentary design templates are also included with the InDesign classes. Each online class is strictly limited in number so that the teacher can personally attend to each student.

While our masterclasses are designed to be intensive one-day courses, our online classes will cover a number of key topics each week. Students will be notified by email when new lessons are available. Students will have a set number of days to complete each week's homework if they wish to receive feedback from the teacher. Throughout the duration of an online class, students will have access to a class forum where they can get to know each other, ask each other questions, and ask Ronnie or Trish questions to do with the class material.  At the conclusion of each class, students will continue to have online access to lessons, downloads, and the class forum for another 30 days.

To participate in an online class, you will require access to a computer as well as a working copy of the software required for the class that you are planning to enrol in. For direct links to trial copies of Adobe software or for more information on subscribing to the Adobe Creative Cloud, please visit our Software page.

Session 1 of 2017 will commence on Monday 20 February 2017. Registration closes on 13 February 2017 or when the classes are full.
