The first day of December.
The first day of the #lifecapturedproject.
I've been so excited to hear that there are quite a number of you out there planning to take part. Thanks to everybody who's already been on the forum and said 'hello'. I loved reading what you all had to say!
If you're only hearing about the #lifecapturedproject now, read this post about how this idea came about and read this post to learn how it's all going to work. You can download the prompts for December here. Everybody is welcome to take part and you can join in at anytime.
In preparation for today, I've actually blocked out an hour each morning to sit down and write. Extremely ambitious, I know (especially when that hour is between 6am and 7am), but I figure that if it's in my calendar, it's harder for me to make excuses about not having the time to do it. At this point, it is definitely my intention to do this daily, but we'll see. My main concern is that this doesn't become a chore. I want to want to do this, because I know that the more my heart is in it, the more heartfelt my writing.
So here we go. No more delay. No more excuses.
Pause, breathe, pick up that pen (or turn on that computer), and write.
