LIFE:CAPTURED began in August 2013 when we held our first full-day workshop at RAW Space in Sydney, Australia. Our mission is to help people document their stories and create tangible keepsakes to be treasured for generations to come. We offer intensive design, photography, and memory keeping workshops, as well as interactive online classes. We are advocates of honest photography, minimalist design, and memory keeping that's simple, beautiful, and tangible. We are the pioneers of the story book, and we offer flexible templates that enable everybody to tell their story. We believe that life is worth remembering and that it is never too early or too late to start documenting yours. LIFE:CAPTURED was founded by Rhonda Mason (of the Pink Ronnie blog) and Trish Chong (of Tealily Photography).

Joel had this little gem of a location on the family to do list for a while now.  He stumbled across it whilst scouting for a wedding and it’s calm bay area and secluded location meant it was perfect for an afternoon escape. And that we did. The boys (and their mama) took their afternoon nap in the car while we made our way there and woke to the gorgeous summer sunshine, plenty of snacks packed by yours truly, and a surprise little freshwater waterfall that doubled as a refreshing shower. The most perfect way to enjoy the last of our free summer afternoons before work well and truly filled our days.  The boys dipped themselves happily in the shallow waters, with a newfound confidence grown over many summer days in our backyard pool. We searched for shells and carefully explored the rocky nooks, then finished up with a satisfying pizza dinner all less than 5 minutes away.

Goodbye, sweet summer, you sure were wonderful!
