This month, I finally returned to writing for myself, and it has truly sparked something inside of me.
There is something utterly magical about putting our memories to paper.
As I write, I remember. I relive past moments. Tiny forgotten details swim back to the surface of my memory - details that I didn't even know exist.
As I write, something intangible becomes tangible once more. Out of nothing, words are woven and stories come into being.
As I write, I am thankful. For the good, and for the bad. For the joy, and for the tears.
As I write, I can see that through everything, we are made more resilient. We are strengthened. We are refined. We become.
As I write, I move beyond the everyday and allow myself to feel. This is a beautiful gift. One that's not to be taken for granted.
As I write, I learn that I am somebody. I am not nobody. I am a person with a story. With endless stories.
And If I do not write them, then who will?
