LIFE:CAPTURED began in August 2013 when we held our first full-day workshop at RAW Space in Sydney, Australia. Our mission is to help people document their stories and create tangible keepsakes to be treasured for generations to come. We offer intensive design, photography, and memory keeping workshops, as well as interactive online classes. We are advocates of honest photography, minimalist design, and memory keeping that's simple, beautiful, and tangible. We are the pioneers of the story book, and we offer flexible templates that enable everybody to tell their story. We believe that life is worth remembering and that it is never too early or too late to start documenting yours. LIFE:CAPTURED was founded by Rhonda Mason (of the Pink Ronnie blog) and Trish Chong (of Tealily Photography).

The blog

The official blog of LIFE:CAPTURED Inc, the modern school of memory keeping. We believe that life is worth remembering and that it is never too early or too late to start documenting yours. We blog about design, photography, and how you can preserve your story with timeless, tangible keepsakes.

Behind the scenes: Six things we've been working on

Behind the scenes - A blog series by Rhonda Mason for LIFE:CAPTURED Inc (The modern school of memory keeping)

Sometimes it's nice to know what people are actually doing behind the scenes/blog, so here's a quick update as to what we've been busy with:

ONE // We've been scouring Sydney for a new and exciting venue to host our next signature workshop in May, and as of this week, we've found it! Hope to reveal the details soon. It's a beauty.

TWO // Trish is coming over on Friday to photograph our family and document our morning routine unplugged in all its raw and frantic glory. We're also hoping to shoot some photos for this series about getting organised with memory keeping.

THREE // We launched our online classes giveaway yesterday. It's easy to enter, so make sure that you do! It's open to everybody internationally.

FOUR // We've been thinking a lot about how we can reach a bigger and wider audience with our online classes. We have a number of ideas for collaboration and it will be so incredible to see them through to fruition. We are unashamedly proud of our product, and we want to spread the word as far as we can!

FIVE // I've been busy taking new product shots in my studio and adding new story book templates to the shop, namely this one and this one.

SIX // We have a few ideas for the blog this year, which should be really fun to work on. Watch this space, okay?

In addition to this, Trish has been working on her new website for Tealily Photography and I've been busily crossing items off the Kindergarten and Year 1 school lists in preparation for the first day of Term 1 next week. (I won't lie - it's like a cruel scavenger hunt.)

What have you guys been up to?
